Each summer the Village of Algonquin hosts a summer concert series, held along the Fox River at Riverfront Park. Residents bring a blanket, picnic dinner, family and friends, and enjoy free music!

The Golf Club of Illinois, a public, challenging 18-hole course, accommodates golfers of all skill levels. Classes and programs are also offered throughout the year and include trips to shows, acting camps, volleyball and basketball camps, arts and crafts, family fun nights and programs for seniors.

Also located less than an hour from Algonquin is one of the country’s most exciting cities. Cubs’ games, world-class dining, shopping and entertainment as well as several outstanding museums are all easily accessible to Algonquin residents by driving to the world-famous city of Chicago.
